Warehouse and Logistics Manager

Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods

- Plan and manage logistics, transportation, and distribution activities to ensure timely delivery
- Lead and supervise warehouse and logistics staff, ensuring high performance and adherence to safety standards
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to maintain optimal stock levels
- Implement and improve warehouse layout, processes, and systems for efficiency and cost-effectiveness
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal regulations related to warehouse and transportation operations
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare regular reports on warehouse and logistics performance with an improvement plan.
- Manage relationships with transport providers, couriers, and other third-party logistics partners
- Handle stock replenishments, damaged goods, and stock discrepancies in coordination with relevant departments
- Use inventory management software and ERP systems to maintain accurate records
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in warehouse and logistics management
- Proven experience in leading warehouse teams and improving operational efficiency
- Strong knowledge of inventory management, logistics processes, and warehouse safety standards
- Proficiency in inventory management systems, ERP software, and Microsoft Office
- Excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Good understanding of transportation and distribution networks
- Familiarity with health, safety, and compliance regulations related to warehousing and logistics
- Effective communication skills in both written and spoken English; other languages are a plus
